WHAT IS REIKI?
In a Reiki healing session, the Reiki healer (me) will channel Reiki energy to the client (you!). Reiki is a Japanese term meaning "universal life force energy." This energy is everywhere all the time. As a Reiki master, I've been trained in long-established practices that activate the Reiki energy within you, empowering your body & spirit to heal. That may sound unbelievable. I used to be a skeptic myself. I became a believer when I received Reiki and felt the effects firsthand. I've since delivered Reiki to dozens of clients, and I consistently see breathtaking outcomes. Through Reiki, I help clients relax, feel better, and let their stress & worries go. A beautiful thing about Reiki is, the client doesn't have to put in any effort. You simply lie down, and then Reiki & I do the work. It's a wonderful way to heal & grow.

Through mindfulness coaching, I help clients tap into their innate talent for mindful living. We all have the ability to be present, focused, aware, and connected to our deepest truths. The difficulties & distractions of life pull us into states of mindlessness. Through mindfulness coaching, I will teach you how to reconnect with your natural inner wisdom.

Through spiritual dialogue, I'll help you consciously heal unresolved traumas & misunderstandings. We all carry knots of unhealed pain within us. I like to define "respect" as:

Unaddressed, these karmic knots can hold us back & keep us stuck in old habits we know don't work for us. As we address these inner pains, we discover they're actually hidden treasures - the more lovingly & respectfully we engage them, the more we learn about ourselves, and the more empowered we feel to approach life in new ways.

My life has been full of enriching experiences & challenges that serve me as a spiritual teacher & guide. I graduated with honors from UCLA with a degree in Philosophy. In my 20s I worked in education as a tutor & a literacy skills teacher. I worked in politics as a campaign operative & as part of the communications team. I earned a Masters of Fine Arts in Creative Writing with an emphasis in poetry, & I have a deep love for literature. I have a law degree & I was a deputy public defender for 8 years. I survived leukemia while in law school. I'm a husband and father of two girls. I've been consciously undergoing a spiritual awakening since 2018 - an experience more painful & rewarding than I ever thought possible.
Drawing on my experience & my passions for teaching & healing, I will provide you insights, guidance, & energy healings that will open your mind & heart to a new world of possibilities.
WHAT IF I'M NOT SPIRITUAL?
No problemo. You don't need to buy into any dogmas or supernatural beliefs to benefit from our time together. I meet you exactly where you're at in life. Spirituality may be a side-effect of working with me. But spirituality is neither a requirement nor an expectation of our working together. All I ask is your heartfelt commitment to personal discovery & growth. Flourishing unfolds from there.
